The gemara questions this from a braita. Someone tried to pasken like Rav but was mistaken in his understanding of Rav and as a result died so that he didn&#8217;t pasken incorrectly. When one&#8217;s teeth fall out, his food also becomes limited. How long is an &#8220;onah&#8221;? The gemara brings a contradiction from some other source where &#8220;onah&#8221; is translated in another way. Rav and Shmuel taught against the mishna that immediately after having sex the first night, one should immediately separate from his wife &#8211; as concern there will be niddah blood.
