The gemara brings a braita that contradicts each of them and resolves it. If one commits a sin unwittingly but isn&#8217;t sure which sin, is one obligated to bring a sin offering? A provisional guilt offering? Nothing? Is this the case only if there are two differnet names to the possible sin or even if it has the same name? What is mitasek &#8211; one who acts unawares? How does the halacha regarding a mitasek differ depending on what area of halacha it was done, i.e. Shabbat, eating forbidden fats, other sins? If there were two babies before a mohel adn one was obligated to have a brit milah on Shabbat and one was after Shabbat and mistakenly the mohel circumcised the wrong one, he is exempt because he was busy with a mitzva.
