One can dedicate only part in each category but not all one owns in that category. There is a debate whether one can give more than 1\/5 of one&#8217;s possessions to charity. Where does one&#8217;s cherem go &#8211; to the priests or to the Temple? One cannot redeem an item that one said is cherem. Can pirests and levites make an item cherem? Is there a difference regarding that question between land and moveable items.
