{"id":3695,"date":"2016-10-10T08:24:55","date_gmt":"2016-10-10T06:24:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dafyomi4women.org\/daf\/?p=3695"},"modified":"2016-10-10T08:25:39","modified_gmt":"2016-10-10T06:25:39","slug":"bava-metzia-14","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dafyomi4women.org\/daf\/2016\/10\/bava-metzia-14\/","title":{"rendered":"Bava Metzia 14"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rabbi Yochanan and Rabbi Elazar disagree about\u00a0the case in the mishna. \u00a0A braita is then brought which supports Rabbi Yochanan&#8217;s opinion and contradicts both Rabbi Elazar and Shmuel&#8217;s opinion. \u00a0Another statement of Shmuel is brought regarding the rabbi&#8217;s opinion &#8211; that even if one doesn&#8217;t write that property is liened to the loan, it is &#8211; and it is questioned by a statement of Shmuel&#8217;s in a different context. \u00a0The gemara then distinguishes between the cases &#8211; one a loan and the other a sale. \u00a0A story is brought to prove this distinction. \u00a0Can one back out of a deal if there are rumours circulating that the land doesn&#8217;t belong to the &#8220;owner&#8221;?
